At Outer Banks Olive Oil Co., we believe that exceptional flavor shouldn’t require hours in the kitchen. The very essence of coastal living is about savoring moments — and that extends beautifully to the meals we share.

This week, we invite you to transform an ordinary evening into an extraordinary culinary experience with a recipe that’s as quick to prepare as it is sophisticated in taste, all thanks to the unparalleled quality of our Tuscan Herb Olive Oil and Traditional 18-Year Balsamic.

Taste the Tuscan Magic

Embrace the vibrant, sun-drenched notes of the Mediterranean with our most beloved Tuscan Herb Olive Oil, a fragrant medley of herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, and garlic. Pair it with our Traditional Balsamic, a true gem from Modena, Italy. Aged naturally to a density of 1.28+ using the Solera System, it offers deep, complex character without added sugars or thickeners.

Together, they are pure magic.

Recipe: Tuscan Herb & Balsamic Shrimp Sauté

This simple yet elegant dish brings the fresh flavors of the Mediterranean to your table in just 15 minutes.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 Tbsp Outer Banks Olive Oil Co. Tuscan Herb Olive Oil

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced (plus extra for garnish)

  • 2 Tbsp Outer Banks Olive Oil Co. Traditional Balsamic

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Crusty bread or cooked pasta, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat Tuscan Herb Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, being careful not to burn.

  3. Cook Shrimp & Tomatoes: Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook another 2–3 minutes, until softened.

  4. Finish & Serve: Remove from heat. Stir in basil and drizzle generously with Traditional Balsamic. Toss gently to coat.

Serving Suggestion: Enjoy immediately with crusty bread for dipping, or toss with your favorite pasta. Garnish with extra basil for freshness.

A Recipe That Adapts to You

This dish is incredibly versatile — swap shrimp for your favorite protein and let the Tuscan Herb Olive Oil and Traditional Balsamic elevate every bite.

  • Chicken: Cubed chicken breast or thighs, sautéed 5–7 minutes.

  • Scallops: Sear 2–3 minutes per side for a rich, buttery flavor.

  • Firm White Fish: Cod, halibut, or tilapia — just handle gently when flipping.

  • Sausage: Brown sliced chicken or Italian sausage first, then add the aromatics.

No matter which you choose, the pairing of Tuscan Herb Olive Oil and Traditional Balsamic ensures a dish that’s bright, balanced, and unforgettable.
