Laura and Phil Wayland are the owners of a retail group of gourmet experience stores throughout the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Laura developed her business skills while building an MLM team through a in home wine tasting company as a stay at home mom. After devoting seven years to her MLM company it folded in 2010. She took the knowledge she gained through her experience and purchased Chip’s wine and beer and subsequently opened Outer Banks Olive Oil in 2013. Now having just opened their most recent location in Nags Head, NC they are excited to see what's next!
Our goal is to provide a unique gourmet experience! We have the widest selection of olive oils, balsamic vinegars, wine, beer, cigars and gourmet foods on the Outer Banks at reasonable prices along with friendly and fun service, which is why we stock more than 2000 wines and over 600 craft beers. Our store’s philosophy stems from a passion for cooking, wine, beer and all things gourmet. We have a passion that we love to share. Whether you know little to nothing about wine, beer or cooking or are a true oenophile or chef you’ll have a blast at our store!
